Everyday Miracles

Hey all,

I was just taking some pictures of fall foliage in beautiful East Tennessee.  I hope you enjoy the pics (I welcome comments) but I also hope you pause to reflect on the breathtaking beauty and complexity of the world around us.  The image of the leaf with the sun shining through it reveals the complex tracery of veins and support structures that give it shape.

I see a leaf and marvel at the marvelous nature of God’s creation, and someone else can see the same leaf and see only a marvelous creation of nature which arose by itself after millennia of natural selection.  It remains a question of faith.  The leaf is self-evident, but how or why did it arise in the first place?

Anyway.  Enjoy the Fall.
